Agreements&Disagreements in Naples: the new edition of the International Short Film Festival

The twentieth edition of Accordi&Disaccordi , the International Short Film Festival in Naples, is underway . The event will take place from November 12 to 19, 2023 , and will be directed by Pietro Pizzimento and Fabio Gargano. It is organized by the Movies Event Association in collaboration with the Campania Region.

This new edition's program is packed with events, with one hundred and nineteen screenings including short films, documentaries, animated films, and experimental films from twenty-one countries. Many of the films will be making their European and Italian premieres.

The festival, with free admission , will take place at the Corte dell'Arte of FOQUS – Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli , in via Portacarrese a Montecalvario, 69 in Naples.

The sections

The 2023 edition includes several sections , in particular:

• International
• National
• Campania region
• documentaries
• Short animated films
• Environmental themed films

These traditional sections are joined by the “Short Shorts” section and the out-of-competition section of experimental films from the United States, Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain and many other nations from across the five continents.

The last day will be dedicated to the screening of the winning short films and the award ceremony for best international short film, best national short film, best Campania short film, best direction, best cinematography, best animated short film , best documentary, best environmental short film , AIC award for best photography, AMC award for best editing.
