The exceptional documentary Amazonia 3D will be in Uci Cinema and The Space Cinema in Naples and will tell the story of the little capuchin monkey Sai

It will be released in Italian cinemas, including Naples, to celebrate the World Forest Day announced by the UN. Let's talk about the incredible Amazonia 3D, the documentary film, closing event of the 70th Venice Film Festival, shot by director Thierry Ragobert and which won the WWF Environment Award.

The project will be shown in all the Uci Cinema and The Space Cinema theaters 23 March and his cast will be composed entirely of animals. Absolute protagonist is Leavesa Capuchin monkey from time to time interpreted by 40 of his peers and that, during his adventure, he will meet crocodiles, sloths, an anaconda, jaguars, pink dolphins, a bear, an eagle and many other animals.

The story starts from a plane crash because of which Sai, who has always lived in captivity, finds herself alone in the Amazon rainforest, suddenly free and disoriented and tells a story that is nothing short of enchanting. With the help of computer graphics, and shot entirely in 3D, the film follows the unpredictable behavior of the capuchin monkey, for the first time struggling with a inhospitable habitat, full of wild animals and lush nature.

A world unknown to her, in which she will have to learn to create her own space and to protect herself from the numerous traps that Nature sets for her.
The story is taken from educational book “Amazonia, la vie au coeur de la forêt” by Johanne Bernard, also co-writer of the documentary and, in the Italian version, is told by Alessandro Preziosi.
