What happens during Friends of April 8th
First phase: exciting challenges and performances
The evening kicks off with a series of challenges between judges and contestants. Among these, a dispute between Arisa e Lorella Cuccarini sparked spirits, while Angelina and Cricca stood out as a duet in the singing test.
Second phase: new challenges and growing tensions
During the second phase, the teams of Cuccarini and Zerbi-Celentano they face each other, leading to moments of discussion between the professors and the judges. At the end of the rehearsals, Maddalena and Angelina end up on the ballot.
Third phase: emotions and comparisons
In the third phase, the teams Zerbi-Celentano and TodArisa si sfidano, e nuovi battibecchi tra Raimondo Todaro, Michele Bravi e Maria De Filippi caratterizzano questa parte della puntata. Mattia e Wax vanno al ballottaggio, e infine è Mattia a rischiare l’eliminazione.
Gauntlet among professors: who triumphs?
The highlight of the gauntlet among professors has finally arrived: which of the teams won the title? The purpose of the competition was to compare the several generations through songs capable of thrilling all ages.
Teacher performance
Zerbi and Celentano have ventured into a real one time Machine, divided into three stages: childhood, with a choreography on "I run away from peeing papa"; adolescence; and finally in the role of mother hen. On the other hand, Emanuel Lo and Lorella Cuccarini have proposed a mashup of three famous songs. Arisa e Raimondo Todaro, invece, si sono esibiti sulle note de “La Notte”, riuscendo a vincere la sfida. Durante la performance, Raimondo ha ballato anche con sua moglie, Francesca Tocca, lasciando Maria De Filippi compiaciuta del loro ritorno in pista.
Final ballot: who risks elimination?
There are three students at risk of elimination: Angelina, Alessio and Mattia. Angelina is saved immediately, while Alessio and Mattia challenge each other in the ballot. Benedetta, visibly excited, can't hold back the tears, having grown fond of both competitors.
During the final ballot, Angelina sings "Wish to live", while Alessio dances to the tune of "Thoiry". Mattia, for his part, performs with "Chantaje".
