The French DJ and his "battle" against a chorus
Bob Sinclar, famous French DJ, is known for his passion for music and his engaging performances.
There is one detail that is testing his patience: a modified chorus which persists in performances. The well-known song "Freed from Desire" by Gala, dating back to 1996, has been reinterpreted by AC Milan fans in "Pioli is on Fire". This version celebrates Stefano Pioli, the Rossoneri coach who led the club to win the Scudetto after 11 years of waiting.
When Bob Sinclar met the Rossoneri fans for the first time
Bob Sinclar had his first impact with this variation of his famous song during a performance in a Padua club. On that occasion, he was surprised and bewildered by the transformed chorus.

The DJ's reaction to the reinterpretation of the song
“Pioli is on Fire” has become an almost obligatory refrain in clubs with a high concentration of AC Milan fans. Despite that, Bob Sinclar did not hide his disappointment.
In an episode dating back to September, the DJ tried, with expansive gestures, to dissuade the audience from singing that chorus, displaying an expression between displeased and the resigned when the choir left.

“Naples on Fire”, Sinclar's counter-move
During a recent autograph session, a fan yelled "Bob, Pioli is on Fire!". Sinclar, this time, answered with a vigorous one “Naples on Fire!”, raising his fist in defiance.

This statement appears to be a reference to the recent changing of the guard in the Italian football championship, with Napoli taking over from Milan as champion of Italy.
It remains to be seen how this situation will play out in the next DJ performances.
