The announcement of the local authorities reveals important changes to vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Naples, in anticipation of the imminent Bufala Fest. The measures, as outlined in the Executive Order, include specific traffic restrictions in Piazza Municipio until 13 September 2023. This provision aims to ensure the safety and correct execution of the event, as well as effectively regulating traffic in the area.

Roads closed to traffic for the Bufala Fest: Piazza Municipio

The focus of temporary traffic regulation concerns Piazza Municipio , inside lane which flows into Via Acton. This area will be completely closed to vehicular traffic. The order was issued by Event Management Service and Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, In collaboration with the Autonomous Local Police Service.

The plan includes security measures such as the location of signposting provisional, the installation and maintenance of which will be the responsibility of the organizers event.

The ban on transit in Piazza Municipio was expected to start from 08:00 on 31 August until 13 September 2023. It is important to note that a subsequent change anticipated the start of closing to August 29th, 2023, as outlined in Ordinance no. 1314 of 28/08/2023. The closing period could be further extended or modified, depending on the contingent needs of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
