The Casa del Mandolino awaits all lovers of Neapolitan folklore and culture!
Until October 2015, to every Friday and Sunday, the beautiful Church of San Rocco in Chiaia becomes "La Casa del Mandolino", the extraordinary exhibition dedicated to guided tours, mandolinate, Neapolitan serenades and songs characteristic.
The initiative, by theNeapolitan Mandolin Academy and sponsored by the City of Naples - Department of Culture, is a valuable opportunity to appreciate one of the most famous and known symbols of the city in the world.
Citizens and tourists, therefore, will be captured by the artistic beauties on show and by suggestive musical performances produced by the talented artists of Napoli Mandolin Orchestra and the soprano Valentina Assorto, which will catapult the public in the real Naples, popular and folk.
A review that undoubtedly reflects the enormous heritage, theimmense tradition and the inestimable excellences that the Naples capital has to offer, once again confirming its hegemony, its elegance and its typical color with unique and inimitable cultural, artistic and historical treasures.
