In the Beijing Express 2023 edition, three couples stood out from all the others, reaching the coveted final. These brave competitors are:
- Just Married: the famous swimmer Federica Pellegrini and his partner Matteo Giunta.
- Italian Americans: well-known chef Joe Bastianich and his partner, Andrea Belfiore.
- The Mediterraneans: the former Miss Italy Carolina Stramare and the actress Barbara Lombardo.

The location of the final episode
The final of this edition was held along a route of 172 kilometres, starting from Battambang. Competitors headed towards Siem Reap, crossing the ancient ruins of Angkor, and then reaching the final finish line.

Nine couples initially took part in this adventure, but only three of them withstood the trials and twists of the journey, earning the right to compete in tonight's grand final. In addition to the Novelli Sposi, the Italian Americans and the Mediterraneans, at the beginning of the program there were:
- The Sicilians: eliminated in the ninth episode.
- The Activists: eliminated in the eighth episode.
- Mother and son: eliminated in the sixth episode.
- The Lawyers: eliminated in the fourth episode.
- The Educated: eliminated in the third episode.
- The Hypochondriacs: eliminated in the second episode.
In the last episode the Mediterraneans were the first to be excluded, having arrived last in the intermediate test, beaten by Italo-Americans and Newlyweds, positioning themselves as third.
