Chick Corea, the jazz legend, will be in concert at the Flegrea Arena in Naples to celebrate his 75th anniversary with the public

Il July 16 2016 the legendary Chick Corea will play atArena Flegrea, Naples, within the review Arena in Jazz 2016.

The American artist with Italian origins, on the occasion of his 75 years has decided to kick off a world tour for celebrate his birthday with the public who has been following and loving him for years. Among the many stages, the jazz master, together with an exceptional quintet, decided to bring his music to the Neapolitan city. With him on stage will be Wallace Roney on trumpet, Christian McBride on bass, Marcus Gilmore on percussion and Kenny Garrett on saxophone.

Chick Corea is considered the living legend of jazz, just think that in his career he received 22 Grammy Awards. He started as a soloist in the 1960s, then joined the American trumpet player group in the 1970s Miles Davis and began to use electronic instrumentation. With them he released two spectacular albums "In a Silent Way" and "Bitches Brewcome".

In the 1993 it was awarded the Tenco plate for the song Sicily, played with the great Pino Daniele.

During the concert of the 16 July the great pianist with his quintet will perform songs in homage to the heroes of jazz including Miles Davis, Bud Powell, Horace Silver and many others. You just have to wait!
