Free cineforum at the former Filangieri Asylum between November and December 2014
A free film festival organized at the former Asilo Filangieri with films on the vices and virtues of the bourgeoisie
In times of crisis, going to the cinema has become almost a luxury. So many cinemas or former disused structures have adopted the cineforum initiative and among these there is also the former Asilo Filangieri, who organized a free film club from November 6 to 11 December 2014.
The common thread of the films is the bourgeoisie, the social class that represents the vices and virtues of the modern age. In the films that will be projected the bourgeoisie is analyzed through different points of view and the stories told that apparently seem almost comical, in reality reveal a bitter reality from the tragic end.
The exhibition is entitled precisely for this reason "The satisfied part: bourgeoisie at the cinema " and was born from a research work started a year ago. The films were chosen by the Opificio di Letteratura Reale of the University of Naples Federico II and provides two cycles.
The first cycle was conceived by six cinema and literature experts who will briefly introduce the films during the double weekly appointment.
Below, the calendar of appointments.
