At the Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri there will be a free open-air cinema with preview and successful film screenings!
In the week from the 2 to the 9 August 2017, for five evenings, the Charterhouse of San Giacomo in Capri hosts Cinema in Certosa, the open-air cinema. There are eight films on the bill, with evenings involving the screening of two films, one after the other.
Entry is free for all until sold out. The initiative has already had great success with the first appointment on August 2nd, which saw Miss Sloane and Jessica Chastain on the screen. The offer of cinema under the stars is varied, proposing to the public national previews and recent successes.
In the calendar there are Italian and foreign productions, presented in original version with subtitles in Italian for foreign films, and in English for Italian films. The intention is thus to maintain the integrity of the film, allowing Italians and tourists from abroad to enjoy the open-air cinema.
Among the films in the projection stand out titles like La Tenerezza, by Gianni Amelio, Cars 3, by Disney Pixar, and Indivisibili, by the Neapolitan director Edoardo De Angelis.
