On the occasion of the holidays for the Christmas the famous Circus Lidia Togni come back to Napoli, especially in the neighborhood Fuorigrotta in Viale Giochi del Mediterraneo, with various events from 23 December 2021 to 13 February 2022.
The artistic director, as well as the son of Lidia Togni, that is Vinicio Togni has organized, on the occasion of their stay in Naples, some very special shows with truly innovative performances that we are sure will leave the guests speechless.
The Circus Lidia Togni: the history
The Circus Lidia Togni was born around the sixties when Lidia met Riccardo and together they founded what was initially known as American Royal. It is a three-track circus, one of the most important at that time.
Only later in 1971 the American Royal becomes in effect the Circus Lidia Togni, moving throughout Italy and giving the public special shows. Following Riccardo's death in 1973, she moved to France until 1980.
From the 90s the circus takes on a new aspect giving rise to new productions like it brazilian show and circus on the ice
