Opening of the new study room at the Girolamini Complex in Naples with an exhibition of 40 ancient works!
Sunday March 12 2017 at 11: 00 at the National Monument of Girolamini in Naples, the new Study Room will be inaugurated with a guided tour by the Monument staff. The curator and the reception staff will take part in the event.
In the historic "Study Room" you can admire the new layout where they will be exhibited approximately 40 works of rare beauty coming from the Girolamini deposits.
We recall the 600th century ivory crucifix from the circle of Algardi, the XNUMXth century sacred vestments of Polish and Neapolitan manufacture, the wax plastics by Giovanni Antonio Colicci, some paintings that have recently been restored such as "Guardian Angel" by Giovanni Balducci, "Madonna della Valicella" by Carlo Sellitto and "Christ among the doctors" by Giuseppe Simonelli and many other sacred vestments of Neapolitan manufacture of the eighteenth century.
