The 2018 Epiphany Concert will take place at the Mediterranean Theater in Naples with Anggun as an international guest!
This year the Epiphany concert will take place as always at Mediterranean Theater of the Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples the 4 January 2018. It will be a show that will see how Anggun international guest, the Indonesian singer-songwriter famous above all for the hit Snow on the Sahara published twenty years ago.
In these months he published his eighth studio work, a album entitled "8" and which is under the banner of peace and multiculturalism. Anggun, in fact, has always been done spokesperson for solidarity and the enhancement of cultural diversity, also inspired by the Indonesian motto "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika”Which means“ united in diversity ”.
The Epiphany concert in Naples will therefore also be a message of solidarity, and the various artistic performances will be guided by the music of theOrchestra Partenopea di Santa Chiara conducted by maestro Renato Serio. Anggun was the first of the artists announced for this 23rd edition and all funds will be allocated to the “Restaura LA NOVA” project. This is the restoration of the inscription still untranslated today of the Cappella Turbolo della Church of Santa Maria La Nova, where Dracula is said to be buried. In fact, in this inscription appears several times the name of Vlad, which would refer to Vlad Tapes, the Dracula of Bram Stoker.
The concert is conceived and promoted by the Oltre il Chiostro non-profit association, produced for RAI by Dante Mariti's Melos International in collaboration with the Musica dal mondo association.
