Here are the details:

  • Increase in Traffic: Compared to December 2023, an increase of 11% is expected of vehicular flow, with a peak of 19% on January 5th.

  • Campania area: In Campania, the access roads to Naples and surrounding highways tend to be particularly congested. Heavy traffic is expected especially in the areas around the Naples ring road.

The measures activated by Anas to facilitate the flow of vehicles

To effectively manage traffic during the Epifania counter-exodus, Anas has adopted various measures:

  • Removal of Construction Sites: Until January 8, they have been removed 171 yards to reduce obstacles and slowdowns.
  • Limitation of heavy vehicles: During the weekend, the movement of heavy vehicles is suspended from 9: 00 to 22: 00 to ease traffic.
  • Monitoring and Assistance: Traffic monitoring systems and assistance teams have been strengthened to ensure safety and flow.

Actions aimed at minimizing inconvenience and making the return journey smoother.
