At the Museo del Sottosuolo in Naples a theatrical event in masks: the mask of devils in masks to celebrate the 2018 Carnival

Sunday February 11 2018 Naples hosts the event "The parade of masked devils and the mysteries of Carnival". In particular it will be the mysterious Museum of the Underworld to welcome the event to celebrate Carnival 2018 with the ancient and magical customs of our Earth.

The guests will be guided by the Diavolessa Lupercalia on a magical journey through the tales of the customs and rituals of the Saturnalia and Lupercalia, ancient Roman festivals linked to pagan religion. The Diavolessa Asmodae with his guardian Mefisto instead will transport guests in the parade of devils up to the center of the basement of the Museum where the "Scapegoat" symbol of death and the underworld will be burned.

Participants will be able to wear a mask and participate in the devils' parade around the fire bringing bells, rattles and pots to play to ward off evil. In addition, those who want to burn, along with the puppet of the scapegoat, even tickets and old items. Reservation is mandatory.
