Free guided tours in some historical residences of Naples during 2017 Open Courtyards.
Saturday May 20 2017 ADSI Campania, on the occasion of the National Days, invites you to the event "Open Courtyards" in Naples.
It is a day dedicated to guided tours during which the students and undergraduates in Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II will accompany the visitors in the courtyards and gardens of the eight historic houses Neapolitans who, exceptionally, will open their doors to the public. To make everything even more interesting and to highlight the importance of craftsmanship, during the guided tours you will meet the Neapolitan master craftsmen.
In each courtyard there will be a Director of the ADSI Campania Steering Committee which will have the task of underlining the importance of conservation and enhancement of private cultural heritage, whose protection is entrusted to individual owners. Architecture students have created a publication on historic houses for the event which will be sold on site at a cost of € 5,00. The proceeds from the sale will go to the Association's restoration activities.
