From the street to the stage with Nek on Rai 2: who are the guests and the artists

Has will be back on stage from 28 March 2023 to take on the role of again conduttore in the early evening on Rai 2 with "From the Street to the Stage“, a TV show that for six episodes will present the colorful world of buskers. The program is proposed as a party and a showcase for singers, musicians and artists, offering them the opportunity to perform and tell your story in the largest square in Italy: the television one.

The show will host artists coming from all over the peninsula and beyond, including acrobats, pianists, jugglers, violinists and singers. Each of them will bring their own talent and a personal history, sometimes moving, other times eccentric or funny, arousing curiosity and emotions in the audience.

Who are the guests of the first episode

During the first episode, Andrea Delogu e Carlo Conti will take on the role of the so-called "important passers-by” and will support the studio audience in choosing the three best performances among the first 13 participants who will compete. The three best artists of the evening will go directly to the final to compete for the award of best street artist in Italy.

Perhaps not everyone knows what "From the Road to the Stage" is an original idea by Carlo Conti, written by a team of authors and produced by Rai.

The street artists who will participate

The "From the Road to the Stage" program offers a unique and engaging experience from the very first episode, by presenting highly talented artistsor from every corner of the peninsula and beyond. Among the participants we find:

  • Company of Fools: acrobats on swinging poles
  • David Stramaglia: pianist known for his performances on the London Underground
  • Giorgio Maria Lagana, Niccolo Nardelli e Giovanna Todisco: skilled jugglers
  • Isaac Minert: virtuoso violinist
  • Joe Bless: vocalist and warehouse worker in daily life
  • Martina Zaghi: emerging singer
  • Riccardo & Celine: charming voice and violin duo
  • Naimana e Daniele: opera singer and ventriloquist
  • Street Sharks: group of street artists
  • No Funny Stuff: jug band using self-made instruments
  • Mauro Masi: talented sand artist

Each artist, in addition to their talent, shares a personal story exciting, eccentric or funny, which inevitably captures the attention and affection of the public.
