Two years after the first edition, he returns to Naples "Days of the Dinosaur“, An incredible journey that will take us back in time to experience the thrill of observing dinosaurs up close.
From 9 October 2015 until January 2016 il Real Albergo dei Poveri it will turn into a Mesozoic jungle and will host dozens of reproductions of these frightening, but fascinating, reptiles that have lived hundreds of millions of years ago.
The exhibition is staged in as many as 20 countries, from Argentina to South Africa, and hopes to let children know the world of dinosaurs above all, their evolution and the habitat that hosted them, are not through scientific methods, but also through play.
The exhibition enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Naples and is produced by Edutainment srl in collaboration with Fontel.
The exhibition
Will 30 the specimens life-size that will be animated, in an artificial jungle with lights and sounds, with animatronic technology to amaze young and old and made with the support of professional paleontologists. Dinosaurs, in fact, will be faithfully reproduced and will have movements and "behaviors" equal to those associated with them thanks to the studies carried out over the years by scientists.
You will be able to admire the king of the dinosaurs, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, in all its magnificence, the Lambeosaurus, known for its "duck" beak or theOviraptor, named for its beak without the said ideal to destroy the eggs, and many other specimens. Interactive areas
They will be 8 le interactive areas set up to make the Days of the Dinosaur experience unique and special. A fun and at the same time educational experience, which will allow you to deepen even little-known aspects of the life of dinosaurs. There will be information sheets dedicated that will explain to the public the evolution, classification and habitat of these animals.
Dino Sand Box
Who among us has never dreamed of finding a dinosaur fossil and making a sensational discovery? With this initiative, children aspiring archaeologists will be able to try their hand at this activity and go to the bone research hidden in the sand and learn how scientists work.
Dino Photo
You can have yourself photographed with the dinosaurs by choosing between three scenarios: next to the Tyrannosaurus Rex, astride the Triceratops, its archenemy or inside an egg shell. The photograph will be delivered in the special official exhibition folder.
Interactive dinosaurs
Do you want to make the dinosaurs move yourself? In this area you can do it and you will also be able to do them roar by pressing a button and interacting with scale reproductions. Miniature dimensions will not prevent fun!
Dino Cinema 3D
Un animation film in 3D which tells the story of our planet starting from the explosion of the Big Bang 14 billion years ago to the present day, obviously passing through the Mesozoic in which it will linger for a long time.
Dino Ride
The children will have fun a world riding a dinosaur and going around the route prepared ad hoc riding one of the most fascinating animals of nature.
Drawing Area
Table, colors, sheets and stencils in the shape of a dinosaur to make children draw their favorite dinosaur or rework what they observed during the visit to the exhibition.
Scavi area
Children will play the role of the scientist and will be able to reconstruct the skeletons of dinosaurs. With a replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex they will learn the scholars' method and learn how much patience is required before a scientific discovery is made.
Dino Shop
A shop dedicated to the official gadgets of the exhibition with scale reproductions of dinosaurs, pens, books, mugs, stationery, pins and much more.
