Stop on ecological Sundays for the month of January 2015. For the new year, new atmospheric containment actions
Throughout the month of January 2015 will not be held ecological Sundays. There will not be, therefore, the usual block of cars expected on the occasion of every ecological Sunday.
The decision is due to a new resolution that it will provide new atmospheric containment actions for the year 2015, studied on the basis of the critical issues highlighted and the positive results obtained in 2014 where, compared to the previous two years, there was a significant improvement in air quality.
In fact, thanks to the interventions prepared by the City of Naples to counteract the phenomenon of atmospheric pollution, in 2014 only two control units recorded a number of overruns exceeding the annual threshold of 35.
Deputy Mayor Sodano stated: "The new resolution will be even more responsive to the characteristics of the city of Naples and even more attentive to the needs of Neapolitan citizens. Ecological Sundays are and must always be shared moments of reappropriation of the city by citizens ”.
