The last few weeks a Napoli, but also in Italy, were characterized by a really intense heat which touched very high temperatures. Even today, 24 July 2022, the weather marks orange stamp for the Neapolitan city, with temperatures reaching 38 degrees perceived.
It is of 'African anticyclone, which was named Apocalypse4800, this number refers to the fact that the freezing point has reached 4800 meters. Temperatures around 28-30 degrees even at night, in short, a truly unsustainable situation for those who do not have air conditioners in their homes.
Probable temperature change
From Tuesday 26 July the situation could change, with cooler air coming from Northern Europe which could inhibit the African anticyclone in particular on the northern regions. The mix of cooler air at high altitude and heat could lead to thunderstorms. This could also occur on Wednesday 27 July with violent thunderstorms.
In any case there could be one decrease in temperatures throughout the peninsula, including the south, giving a little relief to citizens and tourists. Subsequently the pressure should rise again, resulting in a more stable time.
