Eurovision 2023, who will win? Predictions and underdogs. It's Italy?

eurovision who will win

THEEuro Vision Song Contest 2023 is approaching and bettors are already at work trying to guess the winner of this edition. Recall that in 2021, bookmakers correctly predicted the victory of the Moonlight Italians and the second place of France with Barbara pravi. So let's see what the forecasts are for this year.

The favourites

Up until March, bookmakers had listed the Norway, Followed by Spain e Ukraine. However, recently the predictions have changed and now the unanimous favorite is Loreen, the Swedish pop star who he has already won Eurovision in 2012 with the song “Euphoria”.

Loreen will present the song “Tattoo“, already very popular in the Spotify charts.

Behind Loreen, we find the Finland with the rapper Wrapper and his song “Cha Cha Cha”.
THEUkraine, last year's winner with the Kalush Orchestra, is listed as the third possible winner, thanks to the electro duo Creative and their song “Heart of Steel”.

The top 5 is completed by Norway with the Italian-Swedish singer Alessandra and from Spain, represented by White Dove and the song “Eaea”.

The underdogs

At the bottom of the bookmaker ranking we find Romanian Theodore Andrei and Picked Jacks, the Italian band competing for San Marino.
Marco Mengoni, representing Italy with the song "Due Vite", is positioned in ninth place, with little chance of winning according to the forecasts.

Italy and the challenges of Marco Mengoni

Despite the Måneskin victory in 2021, Italy doesn't seem to have many chances this year. Marco Mengoni starts with the disadvantages of the prediction, but this shouldn't scare Italian fans, given that the Månekins were also not favourites when they won the prize.

Mengoni's share is 25.00, tied with Israel.
