In the day of Wednesday August 15 2018, also Napoli has chosen to join the initiative Mid-August at the Gallerie d'Italia. For the occasion, from 10 to 20, the Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano of via Toledo has chosen to guarantee thefree entry to all those who have chosen to stay in the city on the occasion of August.
The main attraction of the day will undoubtedly be represented by show The Scapiliata by Leonardo da Vinci, edited by Marco Carminati and available at the Neapolitan museum until 2 September 2018. The exhibition is part of the review The Distinguished Guest, now in its eighth edition and capable of capturing the attention of numerous enthusiasts.
Together with the Scapiliata, the Palazzo will also present the exhibition in mid-August Neapolitan metabolism, containing 123 works that tell the artistic and figurative development of Naples and Southern Italy from the seventeenth to the twentieth century. Three centuries of cultural history told through a sequence of photographs and works of art of absolute importance.
