The Curiocity cultural association, in view of the 2015 Women's Day, has organized for March 8 a special tour in the historic heart of Naples, the Women's Tour.
Through stories of love, revolutions and ghosts during a pleasant walk through the alleys and squares of the center of Naples, which contain centuries of culture and traditions, you will remember the important female figures Neapolitans who, with their strong temperament, have contributed to clearing those macho ideological barriers according to which the role of women was that of wife and mother, without decision-making power.
The history of these illustrious women, like that of Eleonor Pimentel Fonseca, who was publicly executed for participating in the Partenopean Revolution, taught us what skills, love and courage dominate the female universe.
The tour will end with a tasting in the historic Locanda del Cerriglio, made known by Caravaggio, which will delight convivial with its traditional Neapolitan gastronomic specialties accompanied by a fresh Prosecco offered by the house.
