In the enchanting scenery of the Terme di Baia on stage the Latin and Greek classics with the Festival of Ancient Drama. Also expected a bus from Naples.

July 10th - 28th 2017 , in the wonderful scenery of the Terme di Baia inside the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields in Bacoli, as part of the Festival of Ancient Drama five great Latin and Greek classics will be brought to the scene.

The first show will be “Stories of the Odyssey", A story in installments presented by the Teatro Roma-Teatro Nazionale which presents theHomer's work divided into six titles for six days. We will continue with many other shows and in some days these performances will be preceded by classical performances organized by the schools of Campania selected by the INDA Youth.
The event is organized by the Campania Region with the collaboration of MIBACT and the Archaeological Park of Campi Flegrei, the Campania Festival Foundation, the INDA and the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples and the patronage of the Municipality of Bacoli.

The natural and archaeological beauties of Baia, represented not only by the Spas also from Castle housing the Archaeological Museum and the Submerged Park, thus become the spectacular and ideal scenario for the representation of these masterpieces of classical literature.

Bus from Naples to Baia

To attend the shows it is possible to book a shuttle departing at 18.30 from Via San Carlo, at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, with return from Bacoli at the end of the show. Prices are shown in the final mirror.

  • every day at 21.00
  • only 11, 12 and 14 July double show at 19.00 and 21.00
  • the shuttle from Naples leaves at 18.30 from Via San Carlo and returns after the show
