Films in the original language at the Astra cinema in Naples

The IX edition of the film club has begun in the original language with many new features and facilities for Neapolitan students!

Starting from November 25, 2014, the “cinema in the original language” of the CLA (Federico II University Language Center) has returned to Naples, a series of films showing every Tuesday at the Accademy Astra cinema and which will conclude on May 5, 2015.

The Astra Hall, normally the site of university lectures and workshops, has long been a place where young students are free to experiment with the arts, imagination, and, in particular, new communication methods.

And it is precisely for this purpose that in the evening the cinema reclaims its identity by offering a film club , curated by Annamaria Lamarra and Fabrizia Venuta, different, stimulating and freely open to all Neapolitan citizens.

In its ninth edition, the film series will offer fascinating screenings on profound, emotional, and challenging themes, all performed in the original language but appropriately equipped with Italian subtitles.

Furthermore, all participating students are entitled to free admission and the opportunity to acquire university credits , established according to their courses of study.
