FlixBus restarts in Campania: the low cost travel service is back

From June the FlixBus service will also start in Campania to return to low cost travel throughout Italy!

Starting Wednesday, June 3, 2020 , the FlixBus service will also resume operations in Campania, specifically for the cities of Naples, Salerno, Caserta, Benevento, Fisciano, and Sala Consilina . We remind you that travel between regions will be permitted starting June 3.

As we know, this is a low-cost transport service that has added more and more cities to its network over the years and has long served Campania. There will be 14 lines back in service , with a total of 20 buses serving approximately 70 cities.

Obviously, the restart will be carried out in compliance with all safety measures to protect travelers and employees during this time of Coronavirus emergency.

FlixBus returns to serve Campania and Italy

Although service will be more limited than a few months ago due to the pandemic, FlixBus will still serve many cities throughout Italy, including smaller tourist centers , such as some seaside resorts in Calabria or Sicily.

In Campania, as mentioned, in addition to Naples , the cities and small towns served by FlixBus are Salerno , Caserta , Benevento , Fisciano and Sala Consilina, while in the rest of Italy they will be served, among others, by P eschiera del Garda, Treviso, Mestre, Prato, Brindisi, Corigliano-Rossano, Villa San Giovanni, Canicattì, Caltanissetta and also the airports of Rome Fiumicino, Rome Ciampino, Bergamo Orio al Serio and Venice Marco Polo.

Security measures

As mentioned, rules will be followed to ensure the safety of passengers and staff. First of all, buses will be disinfected at the end of each trip , and staff will also perform additional sanitization; drivers will wear masks and gloves ; passengers will be required to wear masks and maintain minimum distances from others.

Additionally, passengers' temperatures will be taken before boarding, and anyone with a temperature above 37,5°C will not be allowed to board. Check-in will be digital, and disinfectant gel dispensers will be available on board.
