On May 14, 1993, Maurizio Costanzo was the victim of a mafia-type attack with a car bomb that exploded in via Fauro, suffering among other things serious injuries.

His life was miraculously saved, but this episode remained a symbol of the violence of the mafia in Italy and it is with the narration of these events that the program will deal with the memory of a great man of Italian TV, passed away recently.
