The Ghost in the Shell marathon will also be screened in Naples in the Uci Cinema and The Space Cinema
One of the masterpieces of Japanese art also arrives in Italian cinemas: Ghost in the Shell. THE'11 12 and March 2014, in the Uci Cinema and The Space Cinema halls, will be broadcast the two Ghost in the Shell films 2.0 and Ghost in the Shell: Innoncence.
It will be possible to see the marathons also in the halls of Napoli and province and fully enjoy the new digital technology, used for both video and audio, which characterizes films.
The argument is especially true for the first of the two films, Ghost in the Shell 2.0, which is nothing but the restyling of the original film version of the first Ghost in the Shell produced in the 1995. In fact, in the 2008, the film has undergone improvements thanks to the merger between traditional animation e digital animation; merger that made it even more exciting.
As fans certainly know, the anime's story, based on Masamune Shirow's 1989 manga and directed by Mamoru Oshii, is set in a Futuristic Japan where technology is inextricably linked to human life. Humans, thanks to robotic technology and micromachine, are connected to the network and many of them have become cyborgs.
Specifically, the first feature film, set in 2029, tells the story of the cyborg Motoko Kusanagi, head of the so-called 9 Section investigating the crimes of a hacker known as the Puppet Lord.
In the sequel, Ghost in the Shell - Innocence, set in 2032, Detective Batou of Section 9 investigates the strange case of a android built to satisfy sexual desire. The robot, however, mysteriously massacred its owner before self-destructing and the story will be only the beginning of what will become a real journey into the mysteries of the human soul.
