The most beautiful WWF Oasis in Campania will be the protagonists of extraordinary events, here is the program!
Sunday 24 May 2015, At the WWF Oasis Day, Campania will provide extraordinary initiatives at its beautiful oases.
The extraordinary event, which this year will be dedicated to forest, will immerse visitors in direct contact with nature and in a rich program of fun and extraordinary activities.
The protagonists of the day will be the oasis of Montagna di Sopra (Benevento), of Persano (Salerno), the Grotte del Bussento (Salerno) and of Lakes of Campolattaro (Benevento) e from Conza (Avellino).
A beautiful Sunday dedicated to young and old who, in addition to admiring the beauty of nature, can take part in picnics, workshops, craft markets, walks, concerts, photographs, guided tours, shows, releases of birds of prey and turtles, special tastings, games, sightings of animals, bird watching, organic cuisine and many other outdoor activities.
An extraordinary opportunity to learn about the wonderful natural treasures guarded by the territory of Campania and to transmit values and principles to the future generations respecting biodiversity, nature and a healthy lifestyle.
Events WWF 2015 Oasis in Campania
Montagna di Sopra (Benevento)
- 9,30 - Meeting in the Oasis and presentation of the day.
- 10,15 am - Theoretical and practical notions of Nordic walking by Domenico Dell'Osso (Nordic walking instructor - ADS Walking Trail Italia school).
- 11,00 am - Guided tour along the "Black Tit" Nature Trail.
- 11,00-16,00 - Artistic exhibitions, workshops and typical local productions
- 13,30 pm - Consumption, in the equipped area of the Oasis, of a rustic meal (a contribution of € 13,00 is required and reservations must be made).
- 15,30 pm - “Cronoscalata” in the forest of the Oasis (a contribution of € 3,00 is required).

Oasi di Persano (Salerno)
From 10.00 - 11.00 and 12.00 and from 15.30 and 16.30: visits.
Throughout the day, visitors can participate actively in the following educational workshop entitled "A DAY IN THE PREHISTORY"
Furthermore, at the Oasi Visitor Center the following additional initiatives are planned:
- Preparations of food stands with typical products deriving exclusively from organic agriculture such as oil, wine and honey.
- Tasting of typical products deriving from zootechnical breeding, such as buffalo mozzarella and cow's milk.
- Local craft markets.

Grotte del Bussento (Salerno)
- 11:30 am - guided excursion “the floristic richness of the WWF Oasis of Morigerati”, with the herbalist Dr. Dionisia De Santis;
- 14 pm (lunch) - “lu ruppi rendeu”… let's stop, it's time to eat… (reservations required by May 00th);
- 16:00 - guided excursion, intervention by Dr. Rosangela Pepe Denovi on the environmental protection of our territory.

Lake of Campolattaro (Benevento)
- 9.00 am - Nordic Walking in the Oasis
- 10.00 - 13.00 - Guided tours with birdwatching along the nature trail (departures every hour)
- 10.00 am - Guided tour of the Campolattaro Castle
- 11.30 - Presentation of the Craft Days
- 13.00 pm - Zero km lunch with local agri-companies
- 15.00 pm - 17.00 pm - Creative recycling.

Lake Conza (Avellino)
- From 10.00 to 13.30 - banquet for children with educational play activities.
- From 09.30 and for the whole day - study and ringing of birds.
- From 10.30 am - “Bestial Faces” activity, which animal do you look like? Find out with your portrait!
- 10.30 - guided tour of the Oasis
- 11.30 am - “Dough..I love the Oasis” workshop, children and parents will be able to make pasta themselves
- 13.30 pm - lunch break at the expense of the participants (it will be possible to have a packed breakfast in the equipped areas of the Oasis or have lunch at the restaurants in the area).
- 15.00 pm - guided tour of the Oasis.
- 15.00 - we bring the garden into the house.
- 15.30 pm - together with the visitors we will plant typical plants of the area in the Oasis.
