Heinz he made it big and also asked excuse, publicly on billboards. The latter who have crowded the city of Napoli with a particular pizza (quite far from our Neapolitan) and with an inscription in large letters that exclaims "Sorry, Naples” and there are other variations with “Sorry, Italy”.
A great campaign marketing which, however, undoubtedly deserved first of all apologies or, better said, to get their hands on the enthusiasts they respect and revere the real Neapolitan pizza.
Heinzzola, the pizza with Heinz ketchup approved by the Neapolitans
Yes just like this. Heinz has baked pizzas with a ingredients somewhat particular: theirs Ketchup which goes to fill the cornice of the classic Neapolitan pizzas. And he didn't stop there, he created one store pop-up "Heinzzola” (in Via Lanzieri 39) where the Neapolitans were able to try this “modern pizza” firsthand and… it was approved by very many! After the tasting, in fact, was asked to express a verdict and many loved this pairing.
One-shot event, but immortal recipe
The event took place on 9 February, surprisingly, on the occasion of the World Pizza Day. But Heinz has, rightly, spread the prescription all over the world. If you want to try this new and particular recipe, it will also be possible to replicate it at own home. Or who knows that some Neapolitan local will begin to replicate it.
