During the last episode of The Masked Singer, Hippo was eliminated following his final match against Piggy. The Hamster, on the other hand, was admitted directly to the fourth episode of the programme.
The choice of detectives
The detectives expressed their preferences for the characters in the race:

- De Sica opted for the Hippopotamus
- Zanicchi preferred the Venetian Knight
- Insinna bet on the Shark
- Facchinetti selected the Riccio, praising his performance
At this point, only Porcellino is left without an opponent for the challenge. Therefore, the jury and the public decided to compare it with the Hippopotamus.

The verdict of the public
Il social vote was reopened to establish which of the two competitors would continue in the program and who, instead, would abandon the competition at the end of the third evening. Both provided further clues: if Porcellino did not provide significant elements, the hippopotamus he revealed that he is a golf enthusiast and thinks of it as rock.

The time has come to reveal the identity of the Hippopotamus: shouting "Down with the mask", it was discovered that the character was actually hiding Evil. The singer said:
“I didn't think I'd get this far with my Laurel and Oil accent. I wanted to speak only in English, with Milly doing the translation, but it didn't work out”.
