The TV series, based on the novels of Maurizio De Giovanni, will see once again Lino guanciale as the protagonist, the Baron of Malomonte Luigi Alfredo Ricciardi, who will move in a Naples of the Thirties, in full fascist period, with the intention of tracking down the criminals and bringing them to justice thanks to his "particular talent".
Ricciardi is in fact able to see people who died from violent deaths when they die. This season, in particular, it will be involved in some unauthorized investigation to solve a case at the request of a noblewoman.

In first episode, which will air Monday 6 March 2023 in the early evening on Rai Uno, in vicolo della Speranzella a dead man is found in the Bancolotto.

Ricciardi is still shaken by the Nanny Rosa's death, but immediately gets to work, focusing the investigation especially on the Count Palmieri and on his wife Bianca, who is considered by many people to be the most beautiful woman in Naples.
