In second season, also set in Matera, we find the protagonist, interpreted by Vanessa Scalera, engaged in new investigations into crimes that she tackles with grit, relying on her prodigious memory. Imma is in balance between past and future and she has to face many issues, both family and professional, such as report marshal Calogiuri, his daughter Valentina and her mother-in-law Brunella.

Is this a rerun or a new season?

It is a rerun of the second season, originally broadcast in 2021 and 2022. The series has been split into two parts, with the first 4 episodes broadcast between October and November 2021 and the remaining 4 episodes delayed to September and October 2022. With these spring reruns, the episodes will be broadcast over 8 consecutive evenings. The series is already available on Ray Play.

The cast and characters

  • Vanessa Scalera plays Imma Tataranni, an honest substitute prosecutor of Matera with granite morality, who is esteemed for her professionalism.
  • Alessio Apice plays Ippazio Calogiuri, a young pinned with whom Imma forms a steady couple, based on mutual esteem and attraction.
  • Massimiliano Gallo plays Pietro De Ruggeri, Imma's husband and a calm and pleasant IT technician.
  • Alice Azzariti plays Valentina De Ruggeri, the teenage daughter of Imma and Pietro.
  • Barbara ronchi plays Diana De Santis, Imma's chancellor and a former classmate since high school.
  • Carlo Buccirosso plays Alessandro Vitali, Imma's chief prosecutor, who has just arrived in Matera from Naples.

They also return to the cast Dora Romano, who plays the mother-in-law; Lucia Zotti, who plays the mother Brunella Tataranni; And Cesare Bocci, who plays the entrepreneur fixer Xavier Romaniello. New characters entering the scene are Martina Catuzzi, who plays Laura Bartolini, an efficient carabiniere, e Dino Paradise, who plays Domenico Paradiso, an ice cream man involved in a murder.
