Everything is ready for the coronation of King Charles III, an event that has aroused great interest worldwide. The future sovereign will sport a gold dress, recalling the imperial eras and the style of Louis XVI of Bourbon, known as "Le Roi Soleil" of France. This symbolic gesture highlights the monarchical tradition that has characterized British and European history.

How will King Charles be dressed?

The Procession of the King will start from Buckingham Palaceand through the Center Gate, it will go along The Mall, pass through Admiralty Arch and along the south side of Trafalgar Square, down Whitehall and along Parliament Street to the Abbey.

The procession from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace – the Coronation Procession – will follow the same percorso, with Their Majesties aboard the Gold State Coach.
