Part of the June 24 2023 the twenty-first edition of Ischia Film Festival, or the film competition dedicated to the enhancement of film locations, which has been taking place for years in Ischia and which will end on July 1, 2023.
The Aragonese Castle of Ischia will be the location of the event, and more specifically, they will be open to the public on Piazzale delle Armi, the Cathedral of the Assumption and the House of the Sun, places where screenings and auteur meetings will take place.
A rich program of appointments is therefore foreseen with 56 previews, of which 9 absolute, 12 Italian and 26 bells.
Screenings, meetings and exhibitions
The first evening, the inaugural one, of the Ischia Film Festival, will be characterized by special moments, such as the delivery of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Christopher Lambert, the great French actor.
We will then continue with the preview of Meeting with the intervention of director François Manceaux, a projection that will catapult viewers into an intense journey between past and present.
At the Piazzale delle Armi there will be a screening of Who Shoots First, directed by Emanuele Palmara, a short film not to be missed between the thriller and drama genres.
Do not miss meeting with Mimmo Paladino and the actors Giovanni Esposito, Ginestra Paladino, Ettore Ianniello and Leandro Ianniello.
At the House of the Sun instead there will be a screening of Bad faith, directed by Chiara Borsini, Marialuisa Greco and Paolo Corazza, who will also be present at the event.
During the evening there will also be the opportunity to admire the exhibition The Horizon we look at by Roberto Tutti in collaboration with the 3M Foundation.
