Joe Petrosino & Rockammorra will play in the historic center of Naples offering songs from Neapolitan folklore mixed with jazz, blues and reggae

Popular music, taranta, mandolin and rock, will be the protagonists of the new live Joe Petrosino & Rockammorra.

The concert, which will see the extraordinary participation of Roberto Colella and Gli Asse Mediano, will take place Saturday January 31 2015, at the Piazza Forcella space in Naples.
A fun evening whose collection will be donated to support the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), the international association that sends doctors, paramedics, medicines and first aid instruments, in Palestine.

The work of the PCRF, in particular, has the main purpose of guaranteeing medical treatment to the children of Gaza and fortifying the Palestinian National Health System.
Luca Petrosino, aka Joe, is one of the leading exponents of the Campania folk music. But his style is not focused exclusively on popular tradition: his is a different genre, a mix between folk and modern sound including Punk, Dub, Jazz and Reggae.

Joe Petrosino

From this explosive whole born Rockammorra, a new musical language made up of rock and tammorra. A genre that is not only extraordinary to listen to, but also to the sight, given that the performances of Petrosino & Band, on stage, atypically see the classic instruments of the Agro Nocerina tradition with guitars, drums and basses.

A show that goes beyond then, where past, present and future blend and balance perfectly giving life to melodies and unique emotions.
