At the Vittoria cinema in Naples, director Alessandro Rak will present the graphic novel The Art of Happiness
Within the project Dialogando con la città, the 14 February 2015 at the Vittoria cinema in Naples there will be a meeting with the director Alessandro Rak who won the prestigious European film Awards thanks to the animated feature film The Art of Happiness.
In this exclusive meeting, in addition to the screening of the film's backstage, the graphic novel de will be presented The Art of Happiness. The graphic novel is a comic version, but with a novel structure, which is aimed at a more adult audience.
In the specific case, the work of Alessandro Rak is a very delicate and particular comic, whose preface is curated by Roberto Saviano and whose plot turned out to be profound and moving.
The story set in the city of Naples. On a rainy day, the taxi driver Sergio he takes special clients up and down in his taxi: a singer, a radio speaker, an old uncle and other characters who provide him with traces of his brother Alfredo, who has disappeared in Tibet for ten years. Sergio is so carried away by memories, he talks with his customers on philosophical themes and think back to the music composed with the brother. In this way he will rediscover his personal art of happiness.
