Finally good news: the Grazia Deledda di Ponticelli Library in Naples opens its doors to welcome the public!
After 11 months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Grazia Deledda Library in Ponticelli is finally reopening its doors to the public and students.
This is truly excellent news for returning to use the Library's spaces and taking part in all the events that are scheduled.
The Ponticelli Library reopens: activities
Many activities are planned for the young people who will use the Ponticelli Library and beyond. Currently, approximately 66 euros have been allocated for these activities and for various renovations to the building.
These activities include the free, 50-hour intermediate B1/B2 English course offered by the Noi@Europe Association , taught by university professor Arianna Grasso . Only 15 young people residing in the metropolitan city of Naples will be eligible to participate in this course . This will be followed by language courses in Arabic, Spanish, and French.
The library will be open Monday through Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. , but these hours will soon be extended to include evenings and weekends, when interesting storytelling and human library workshops will be held. Activities designed for seniors are also planned .
