In Piazza Cavour in Naples, the Triton Fountain, one of the most beautiful ornamental fountains, is back in operation!

The Triton Fountain, also known historically as the fountain of Ducks, is one of the most beautiful ornamental fountains of Naples and is located in the heart of the historic center of the city, or in Piazza Cavour. 

Inactive since 2015 and therefore for 6 years, last year during the pandemic the Fontana del Tritone was subjected to renovations and finally from April 16, 2021 it started working again.

With a post on his facebook page, the mayor of the city of Naples, Luigi De Magistris announces the wonderful news to the citizens: the Fontana del Tritone in Piazza Cavour it started working again.

As the mayor explains, this was possible thanks to “An important re-functionalization interventionWhich started last year during the lockdown and ended on April 16 2021, the day the Fontana del Tritone was reactivated in the presence of the Extraordinary Commissioner ABC, Sergio D'Angelo and the Councilor for green Luigi Felaco.

Finally, therefore, you can return to admire this special fountain, especially in the evening, which, thanks to the change of color of the water based on the national days that are celebrated, will give you one really impressive show of colors and lights and unmissable.
