Flagship of the Italian Navy, the sailing ship Amerigo Vespucci will return for three days to the port that has seen its launch, that of Castellammare di Stabia.

The construction of the Lady of the sea began on 12 May 1930 and about a year later, on 6 June 1931, the Amerigo Vespucci entered service as a training ship, then flanking its twin Christopher Columbus.

Unfortunately for this year, due to the health situation for Covid-19, visits on board will not be possible in order to protect the crew and reduce the risk of contagion. However, you will still be able to admire the wonderful ship from the outside.
