Review of La Padella deli-gastronomy in Piazza Arenella in Naples
This week we return to Vomero and present you one of the most famous restaurants in the neighborhood: the pan.
The local
The Pan is one rotisserie-gastronomy that for more than 30 years has delighted the palates of the neighborhood and beyond, becoming almost a "institution".
The shop is located at the corner of Piazza Arenella (Piazza Muzii) and there is both the possibility of eating at one of the tables on the street and the possibility of home deliveries.
The menu
The strength of the pan is certainly the spit-roasted chicken with potatoes (6,50 euro) which is considered by many the best in Naples. at typical fries from rosticceria such as crocchè, arancini and pasta frittatine (1,50 euro / each) are accompanied by real first dishes that vary daily and seconds more traditional (schnitzel, french meatballs) or less (chicken curry) accompanied by many types of side dishes.
Are you a sweet tooth? Do not be afraid! The Pan also sells delicious desserts and at absolutely no cost competitive without, however, lowering the quality of raw materials.
Probably at the exit of the schools you will find hordes of children and not who cannot resist the temptation to eat the pasta omelette; but the pan is open even in the evening and it is very convenient to eat with taste without spending a capital.
