The Neapolitan Vajassa tombola

Tombola Vajassa is nothing more than the spectacularization of the traditional Neapolitan game, in short, a more colorful version of the classic tombola that was played exclusively by women and femminielli in the Neapolitan slums.

The Vajassa tombola, in which anyone can participate , including men, will be led by a femminiello , who, drawing the number from the basket, will announce it aloud along with its meaning according to the Neapolitan smorfia, obviously using very explicit language.

The fun begins right here, because by drawing the various numbers, the femminiello will tell the audience a story that will originate from his imagination and, obviously, chance, depending on the order of the numbers drawn.
