Filming the new Netflix original series, “The life you wanted“, have officially begun. The plot develops between city of Lecce, Salento and Naples. La production is entrusted to Banijay Studios Italy, while the creation and film script they are the work of Ivan Cotroneo and Monica Rametta. Cotroneo also plays the role of director in the series, consisting of six episodes.
This series tells a history of ties, friendship and discoveries. The main message is conveyed by the protagonist Gloria, interpreted by Victoria Schisano, which shows us the happiness we desire (planned, orderly, simple), but also the one that surprises us and disrupts life.
The Story of "The Life You Wanted"
Gloria, the protagonist, believes she has reached the happiness a Lecce, where he started a small agency tourist and found love with Ernesto. His life, however, comes upset since the arrival of Marina, a friend from university days a Napoli, before Gloria embarked on her journey of transition. Marina shows up with Andrew and Ariadne, her children born from two previous relationships, and is expecting a third child, whose father is Pietro, a passionate and perhaps dangerous young man.
Despite Gloria would prefer to avoid re-establishing relations with Marina, as it reminds her of a period of her life that she would like to forget, Marina conceals numerous secrets. It will soon come into the picture too Sergio, Arianna's father, a man suspicious of Gloria right away. The time has come for Gloria to come to terms with "the life she wanted", her past and her future, discovering that the happiness it can come in unexpected forms and that love is the only thing that can make life worth living.
