The island of Procida is a small treasure in the Gulf of Naples. A little underrated compared to its sisters Capri and Ischia, it actually hides an excellent holiday and leisure experience in easily traversable spaces.
Maybe you didn't know it, but it is possible to move from one end of Procida to the other comfortably on foot, which is impossible in Ischia and even less so in Capri.
Furthermore, the advantage of Procida is that it is much less chaotic than its sisters while still guaranteeing clear and clean waters. The sand of Procida is darker than the classic white sand and slightly thicker, its origin is clearly volcanic.
The beaches are not very large, but there is more than enough space in some of them which, in fact, are much larger than many small beaches on the mainland.

Chiaiolella Beach
It is the longest beach in Procida's offer, with over a kilometer and a half of dark sand beach. There are some beach establishments, but most of the stretches they are completely free
THEexposure is to the west and this allows it to be sunny throughout the afternoon.
Halfway along the beach it is possible to admire the Faraglioni of Procida.
To access it there are various descents to the sea, some carved into the volcanic rock.
The water is shallow therefore it is excellent for families, less so for swimming lovers who will have to proceed for many meters before being able to dive.
