Suggestive evening visits between archeology and nature with Lucciole and Sibilla: discovering Lake Averno and the Cuma Forest with tasting!
The unmissable meeting with Fireflies and Sibyl at Lake Averno, this year in its sixth edition. THE six appointments between May and June 2018 provide for suggestive guided evening tours between archeology and nature, in the protected area of the Parco dei Campi Flegrei, and one of the walks will be dedicated to the Cuma Forest. At the end of each visit there will also be one tasting of typical products of the territory.
In a pristine environment, the regional tourist guides will lead the participants to the discovery of the dance of fireflies, play of natural lights which occurs during this time of the year. According to Greek mythology, Lake Avernus was one of the gateways to the Underworld: between history and legend we will remember the presence of the Sibilla Cumana, mysterious priestess of Apollo endowed with particular prophetic qualities.
The route will end atMirabella farm, where it will be possible to taste bruschetta and wine of their production. We also remember that to participate in the event reservation is mandatory.
