Wednesday evening on Real Time is now a fixed appointment for lovers of romantic reality shows thanks to the airing of Marriage at first sight.
The programme, coordinated by a team of three experts, aims to form single couples who meet for the first time in front of the altar. The contestants, put to the test by the cameras, must decide at the end of the season whether to divorce or stick together.
The fourth episode of the program featured three different couples:
- Irene and Matteo
- Simona and Gennaro,
- Matthias and Julia
Couple 1: Irene and Matteo
The couple of Irene and Matteo seems to be in tune from the very first episodes. During their honeymoon in Egypt, the two spent some romantic and tender moments.
However, in recent episodes, some of Irene's attitudes started to annoy Matteo. There seems to be some cloud on the horizon for the couple.
Couple 2: Simona and Gennaro
Simona and Gennaro are living a very different experience from other couples.
Their story is characterized from great silences, very few conversations and little desire to get involved.
Gennaro tries to stimulate his wife, but Simona prefers to withdraw into herself.
The couple is having a lot of difficulty finding the right harmony.
Couple 3: Mattia and Giulia
Mattia and Giulia on paper appear to be the most compatible couple between three. Both are smiling and sunny boys, but during the first days of living together they had some difficulties and her detachment, which almost makes him the friendzone on more than one occasion, are often blatant.
Giulia is a bit incoherent and Mattia struggles to fully understand her. However, it seems that the couple has made some progress positive in their relationship.
Previews of upcoming episodes
The previews for the next episodes of the program are very interesting.
It seems there will be moments of tension, surprises and even some happy endings.
However, the first two couples will still have to work hard to find the right harmony.

The program also wanted to make a brief summary on pairs of previous editions who are still together.
Among these are:

- Solange Salvo and Michele D'Addetta.
These couples have shown that the experiment can work, even if it isn't always easy.
