Workshops, collectibles and conferences at the exhibition-market Collecting Nature in the Cloister of San Marcellino in Naples: free for students!
The exhibition - market Collecting Nature will take place on 14 and 15 October 2017 in the CUniversity of Saints Marcellinus and Festo of Naples.
The exhibition will bring young and old to the wonderful world of nature with an original exhibition-market of fossils, minerals, shells, animals, plants, naturalistic publishing and accessories for collectors, rare items from different Italian regions.
To deepen the knowledge of the environment, conferences and temporary exhibitions will be held, educational and practical workshops on the solar system, on animals but also on mineral and food resources. 360-degree information with the aim of disseminating scientific discoveries and satisfying curiosities about what surrounds us.
Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase valuable finds and small natural objects.

Conferences:
- Sunday, 11.00 hours: Mediterranean, a sea of sharks? Massimiliano Bottaro, researcher and marine biologist, Anton Dohrn Zoological Station.
Temporary exhibitions
- Bright phenomena in the atmosphere. Travelers from infinity, red spectra and blue rays. Organized by the Sky Sentinel Cultural Association.
- From the goldfish to the python: alien species, a silent invasion that threatens biodiversity. Curated by Luigi Sansone, Naturalist Biologist.
- René Just Haüy: from crystal collector to father of crystallography. Curated by Massimo Umberto Tomalino, Polytechnic of Turin.

- I'm talking about …… Educational workshops of mineralogy, zoology, anthropology, paleontology and physics. Organized by the Naturalia Association Saturday and Sunday 10.30 - 13.30; 15.00 - 18.00
- Observing in… High Telescope Experiences. By the researchers of the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory. Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 14.00
- Educating with animals Laboratories of correct knowledge with different animal species. Presentation of Pet Terapy, Equestrian Rehabilitation, Onotherapy. By the AICOTE Association. Onlus Saturday and Sunday 10.30 - 13.00; 15.00 - 18.00
