At Nola will be exhibited 40 works by Giorgio de Chirico in the exhibition set up in the Church of the Holy Apostles.

Il 18 February 2017 the exhibition will be inaugurated "Apollonian and Dionysian"of Giorgio de Chirico in Nola with 40 works by the artist which will be set up in Church of the Holy Apostles of the municipality in the province of Naples and will last until March 19.

This is an exhibition in which they will be exhibited works by de Chirico made between 1933 and 1974, oils, drawings, incisions, lithographs and mixed techniques that cross the entire view of the artist. Through them we will be able to learn more about him and the metaphysical current of which he was the greatest exponent in the twentieth century.

The initiative is promoted by the Municipal Administration of Nola, by the mayor Biancardi and by the Councilor for culture Cinzia Trinchese. Various political personalities will be present at the inauguration and there will be a vernissage with artistic performances and tastings of sweets by pastry chef Pasquale Marigliano.

THEMeridies association will take care of the guided tours during the entire duration of the event, while the exhibition itself was curated by the artistic association Friarte.

This is a very important initiative that also wants strengthen art tourism, enhancing the beauty of the places hosting the exhibition, primarily the church.
