The exciting challenges between the world table football champions will take place in Naples with the Subbuteo tournament!
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 January 2017 in Naples the International Major of Naples will take place on table football tournament, the famous Subbuteo, with the strongest individual teams and athletes in the world.
The competitions will be held in the Multifunctional Soccavo and real champions of this discipline will challenge each other, with 32 teams e more than 150 single athletes who will put all their skills to the test to win the first of the five major players on the international circuit.
Table football is none other than thesports evolution of the famous Subbuteo and the 2017 edition of the tournament will kick off from Naples, where the various athletes will try to win the first seasonal points for the world ranking.
To compete will be samples from many countries of Europe such as France, Belgium, England, Greece, Spain and Malta. There will also be the first five of the Open classification (in which Italy is the reigning world champion in teams) and the champions of the Veteran category which includes Massimo Bolognino, 21 times world champion and curator of Eagles Napoli.
The event is sponsored by FISTF (Federation International of Sports Table Football), by the FISCT (Italian Football Sports Table Federation) and by the Municipality of Naples with the support of Fedele Management and Edilsoffitti.
Tournament schedule
Saturday January 28
At 9.30 the meetings of the team tournament, divided into elimination groups of 4. Subsequently, there will be the direct elimination matches up to the final.
Sunday January 29
At 9.30 it will be the turn of the 6 individual categories: under 12, under 15, under 19, female, Open and Veteran. The dynamic will be the same as the team tournament.
Both for the teams and for the individuals there is also a consolation tournament for those who will be eliminated.
