Disney Store, the very famous international chain of stores specializing in the sale of Disney products, loved above all by children but also by adults, unfortunately closes its doors throughout Italy and, consequently, will also close the store located in the most famous street of Napoli, or Via Toledo.
Now that not only Campania, but all of Italy is on the way to a slow economic recovery, after the difficult period of health emergency, the 15 Disney Stores scattered throughout our territory. The liquidation of the company took place only on May 19 and therefore this decision, with very little notice, put all the 230 employees of the points of sale, and which therefore find themselves living one really difficult situation.
The Disney brand has therefore decided to give up retail, due to the enormous maintenance costs of the stores, and focus exclusively on online sales.
Disney Stores close all over Italy
Just to safeguard the Rights of all the employees who, after the closure of the 15 Disney Stores, will find themselves out of work, in a period that is not easy at all, there will be unions Filcams Cgil, Fisascat Cisl and Uiltucs, which for May 25, 2021 have organized aunitary assembly of workers.
This special assembly will have as its main purpose that of "establishing the initiatives of struggle to be put in place" in contrast to the decision taken by disney store.
A really serious loss for the city of Naples, and for all other Italian cities and beyond, in fact the brand has also decided to close the 60 Disney Stores in theNorth America.
